With both lake and mountains on its doorstep, there is plenty to do. In summer, Lake Geneva is excellent for bathing and water sports, and golf, tennis and cycling are available in some breathtaking settings. The hotel provides bicycles, as well as an electric boat for excursions on the lake.
In winter, the ski slopes are less than an hour away.

The terraced vineyards of Lavaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a fascinating place to visit. A great way to take in the beauty of the area is to take a paddle steamer across Lake Geneva in the direction of the famous Château de ChillonTM. The modern and Belle Époque CGN boats will also take you from Ouchy to Evian-les-Bains. From Nyon, you can take a boat to the medieval village of Yvoire.

Culture enthusiasts should go on a trip to Martigny, where the Gianadda Foundation always puts on stunning art exhibitions. Children enjoy rides with the MOB GoldenPass panoramic train, and the many amusement parks in the area are sure to make their holidays unforgettable.
